1. Possible Contributions of Atmospheric and Other Conditions
The photograph was taken using a Kodak digital camera loaded with an expansion memory card on a panoramic setting.
The prevailing conditions were:
- direction photo taken was approx NE
- direction of cross shape was approx E
- direction of sun was SW
- there was no moon
- weather was calm and overcast
The cross image could not have been caused by the sun or moon appearing from behind clouds.
So, what are we looking at?
